Iberdrola unveils plaque in New York for 240th anniversary of the first Catholic church

Iberdrola has inaugurated a commemorative plaque in New York marking the 240th anniversary of the founding of the city's first Catholic church, which was financed thanks to Diego de Gardoqui, Spain's first ambassador to the United States. The ceremony was held in collaboration with the Queen Sofía Spanish Institute and was attended by His Majesty the Queen. 12 November 2025.
